BIG win for Rush at the British Hairdressers Fellowship
Rush’s International Creative Director Andy Heasman won Hairdresser of the Year at the Fellowship of British Hairdressers on Monday 7th December. Another big win was for Artistic Team member Jamie Benny, who became a 2016 FAME Team member.
The annual Fellowship for British Hairdressers awards took place on Monday 7th December at the Dorchester Hotel in London.

The Fellowship for British Hairdressing celebrates the very best of British Hairdressing. Andy was nominated by his peers for the Hairdresser of the Year award, which recognises his dedication and creative contribution to the industry.

Accepting his award, Andy took to the stage and said,
Being recognised by my peers for my dedication and commitment to the hairdressing industry and the standards of work that we produce and promote is a massive achievement for myself and for Rush. It’s something that I’m extremely proud of”
The British Hairdressers Fellowship is the foundation for the highest professional standards and life-long training and education for hairdressers in Great Britain. To become a member of the Fellowship you need to show original talent, charisma and have a real “star quality”. Members of the Fellowship of British Hairdressing aim to represent the top 10% in the hairdressing industry, actively supporting anyone who promotes the image of high quality hairdressing to the industry or consumers.
Alongside Andy, Artistic Team member Jamie Benny won a place on the 2016 FAME Team, a carefully selected team of young upcoming hairdressers who are nominated by Fellowship members. They take part in a rigorous selection process in order to win a place on the prestigious FAME Team.
Rush supports all hair stylists to achieve their hairdressing career potential through fully funded training courses at the Rush Academy. Opportunities to progress into the Workshop Team or the Artistic Team are available for all stylists as well as opportunities to enter awards and continue learning and training with leading industry professionals.
