To become an apprentice with RUSH hair, you should have already left school or be preparing to leave school at the end of the spring term.

If your dream is to go into the hairdressing industry you should pick the best option and start your career in hair with one of the leading salons in Britain, a large salon group with a multitude of British hairdressing awards and a leader within the industry. We are RUSH.

As an apprentice within RUSH you will gain the valuable experience of on the job training. You will attend the NVQ Academy in Croydon once a week; undertake theory & practical training while working towards the NVQ Level 2 hairdressing qualification.

During your training with RUSH you will have the chance to experience the variety of different paths your career can take within the RUSH group. Whether your passion lies in creative work, management, salon running or education, all areas are open to you.

Salon life as a RUSH apprentice has many aspects within the job role. You will learn how to effectively serve the client, which will enable you to assist stylists. At the same time, you will learn about giving professional advice on products used within the salon and home retail, to keep the clients hair maintained between visits. You will also be trained to give clients the RUSH backwash experience, learning how to correctly use the products alongside the shampoo massage techniques used throughout the RUSH group.

Apprentices will assist the daily running of the salon including client care, aiding the stylists and all other general salon duties which are key to ensuring the salons are run effectively and professionally.
