Sisters franchise together to open new salon, Rush Ipswich
Rush Ipswich opened on Saturday 19th March. The first Rush salon in Ipswich and the third franchise salon opening of 2016.
I spoke to Rush Ipswich franchisee, Cherie Turner who opened Rush Ipswich with her sister Betty. Cherie shares with us her reasons for franchising with Rush and what she’s looking forward to owning her own salon with her sister.
Hi Cherie, tell us about yourself
My name is Cherie Turner, I’ve been hairdressing since 1996, working my way up in another well established brand. For the last several years I’ve been working as a lecturer, teaching and assessing hairdressing.
What attracted you to Rush?
I was attracted to the quality of the brand and Rush’s strong customer focused attitude. Rush have a great family ethos and it’s great to work directly with the Co-Founders, you wouldn’t get that with a lot of other companies. Rush have a great team to support franchisees so I wanted to be part of that.
What are you looking forward to most about having your own Rush salon?
I am really looking forward to working with my new team, teaching and supporting them in their careers. I’m also excited to offer customers a fabulous service from start to finish and finally bringing the Rush experience to Ipswich!
What can customers expect from the new Rush Ipswich salon?
The look will be a modern, relaxing and luxurious environment. Great customer services will go hand in hand with in depth consultations, treatments and after care packages and advice.
How would you describe your new salon team?
Thanks to the Rush Academy, the team will always be up to date with new trends. We are a creative and passionate team. Customers can expect to be greeted by friendly, approachable and experienced staff, all on hand to ensure their experience with Rush is one they’ll want to have again and again.
