How many salons did Rush open in 2016?

The Rush family had an amazing 2016.  With the opening of 11 new hair salons, 4 existing salons having a revamp we cannot wait to see what 2017 will bring. We welcomed new customers and new staff and couldn’t be prouder of everything that has been achieved.

The first salon opening of 2016 was; Rush West Hampstead. Liliana Ionescu, who is a long-standing Rush employee became a Franchisee in February 2016. She has been a stylist for over 15 years and chose to franchise in West Hampstead because it is a young and vibrant area. The second salon opening of the month was Rush Chelmsford and was opened by franchisees, Billy and Holly, Billy had worked as a stylist for over 20 years in London. He choose to Franchise with Rush because he wanted to be part of a bigger team and a successful brand.

In March, Betty and Cherrie opened their very own Franchise in Ipswich, the new salon was a lovely addition to the high street.  Kieran Austen, another long-standing Rush employee, opened his very own Franchise in Greenwich. He began his hairdressing career at Rush Canterbury in 2009 and 2016 saw him become a Franchise owner in May.

When the English summer began in June, we celebrated by opening a Franchise in York! The Franchise was opened by Jessica Graville. She decided York was the perfect place to open a Franchise.  In July, Rush Milton Keynes opened in Intu Shopping Centre. The salon was opened by Andrew and Kelly and the pair run a stunning salon.

August was another exciting month.  Our first East Midlands salon was Rush Leicester opened by Franchisee, Sandra Hopkins.   Sandra had been in the hairdressing industry for over 25 years, she also had 12 years experience as a previous salon owner in her local town.

In October Rush opened three salons;  Rush Manchester, the salon is located in the heart of Manchester and is managed by Toby Parrett.  The second salon of October was, Rush Nottingham, which is surrounded by the city’s bustling shops, bars and restaurants and the famous Market Square. The last salon opening of October was Rush East Grinstead. Former Rush employees, Hannah and Jess decided to start their careers as Franchisees by opening Rush East Grinstead, at Rush we love to see employees grow into Franchisees!

The last salon opening of 2016 was Rush Holborn. The salon opened in December and is located in central London. Rush Holborn is near to The British Musuem and conveniently, Holborn Station.

Rush had an amazing year and cannot wait to see what will happen in 2017!
