Responsiblities

You’ll be responsible for listening to, advising, and satisfying your clients’ wishes, to ensure a seamless and enjoyable salon experience and to encourage repeat custom. We’ll expect you to stay up to date on industry news and trends, and consistently strive to improve and learn more about your artform. You’ll be open to, and excited by, the prospect of further training and courses where available.

Junior and apprentice members of the team will also look to you for guidance as you progress at Rush, which you can learn more about below.

Desired Qualifications

You must have achieved a minimum of a Level 2 Professional Standards, a Level 3 Advanced and Creative or a previous NVQ qualification from Level 2.

Not only will you be part of a dynamic and cutting-edge brand family, you will have great earning potential on our commission scheme of up to 35%.

As well as a 40% friends and family discount, you’ll get up to 20% off all professional homecare products and a platform to share your skills at fun social events, with awards to be won.

Personal Development

New employees start their journey with us by attending The Rush Way, at our award-winning, state-of-the-art Academy. This is a 3-day introduction to the brand, culture, values, hairdressing language and how we work in the salons. This includes courses tailored to your career, and focused on the latest cutting, colouring and styling techniques.

On-going training led by our fantastic Artistic Team, each course is designed to enhance your Stylist skillset and enhance your education in the field.
