Stell thanked the sponsors; HJ, L’Oreal Professionnel, i-salon, Maletti and KMS for continuing to support our chosen charity. Stell welcomed 19-year-old Cameron to the stage. Cameron explained how GOSH have helped him since the young age of 10 years old and performed a life-saving operation to remove his brain tumour. Cameron was eternally grateful for everything GOSH have done for him, and urged the audience to donate.

The Colour Team

The inspiration for the show this year was ‘S&M Punk and Sports Lux’. The Colour Team took to the stage and talked through their ‘S&M Punk’ look. Whilst the team were working, three models strutted onto the stage and showed off the striking colours in their hair.  The Colour Team were using a lot of greens, yellows and pinks. International Colour Director, Chris Williams described the looks as a “modern lux feel to traditional British punk”.

S&M Punk

Andy Heasman, International Director, then joined the stage. He led the ‘S&M Punk’ look and explained that “S&M Punk is a celebration of 40 years of punk, textured cuts and striking colours”. The team created looks which featured ‘triangular cuts’ and bold fringes. Whilst his team were busy cutting the models hair, another three models joined the stage to show off their ‘S&M Punk’ cuts.

Sports Lux

Next on stage was Tina Farey, Editorial Director. Tina led the ‘Sports Luxe’ collection. This collection featured braids and used sports accessories to complete the look. Tina explained that The Sports Lux collection was inspired by “monochromatic health 60th movement”. The team created styles which featured bouncy hair, high ponytails and slicked back hair. Whilst the team were creating their individual looks, two models joined the stage and looked incredible. The audience also got the chance to see the looks from the L’Oreal Colour Trophy. The Virtual Circus look was in conjunction with L’Oreal Professionnel.

“Creativity is power, when unleashed it will change your life forever”

At the end of the show, everyone from the RUSH team arrived on stage. There was a huge round of applause. RUSH Live was a success and a great night in aid of such a worthy cause. RUSH would like to thank all of our sponsors again for their support and thank anyone that took the time to come to RUSH Live.
